Miguel Regala

Miguel Regala is an experienced professional in the field of cybersecurity, currently serving as an Invited Professor at the Master in Information Security at Faculdade de Ciências da Universidade do Porto since September 2024. Regala has held various significant roles, including Senior Hacker at Hadrian and Ethical Hacker at HackerOne, where recognition includes membership in H1 Elite and the Hacker Advisory Board. As a Core Researcher at Cobalt.io, Regala is ranked among the top 15 all-time researchers. Previous positions include Head of Hacking at ETHIACK, Founder & Head of Hacking and CTO at PENTHACK, and Senior Security Engineer at Certus Cybersecurity. Regala's career began as a Security Auditor and Researcher at AuditMark, focusing on penetration testing and security education. Educational qualifications encompass a Master’s degree in Computer Engineering from Faculdade de Engenharia da Universidade do Porto, a Master’s in Security and Forensics from the University of Bedfordshire, and an Erasmus experience at Ghent University.
