Steven Croft

Steven Croft has a diverse work experience. From 2010 to 2015, they were the Lead Server at Skipolini's Pizza and Pasta, where they were responsible for closing the restaurant at night, counting out and tipping out employees, ensuring each member of the serving staff did the side work they were assigned for the evening, resolving issues between customers and staff or food, applying discounts to bills, and fixing mistakes on the computer. From 2015 to 2016, they were the Web Developer at Richard Carlton Consulting, where they were responsible for all of their corporate sites, creating sites for clients, and maintaining and creating sites for new products. Steven also maintained and developed some of their html emails and did some designing for logos and websites. From 2016 to the present, they have been the Co-Founder of Hackingtons, where they have been instrumental in creating the curriculum and design of the program. Steven has produced thousands of instructional videos on Python, Scratch, Unity, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, C#, Django, and Roblox. Steven also helped create the leveling belt system, the XP system, message boards, and overall experience.

Steven Croft has a diverse educational background. Steven attended University of California, Riverside from 2008 to 2009, studying Neuroscience. Steven then attended Sierra College from 2012 to 2014, earning an Associate of Science (A.S.) in Computer Science. Finally, they attended California State University-Sacramento from 2015 to 2017, studying Computer Science. Additionally, Steven has obtained several certifications from lynda.com, including Foundations of Programming: Data Structures, Foundations of Programming: Test-Driven Development, Foundations of Programming: Databases, WordPress Essential Training, Installing and Running WordPress: MAMP, and JavaScript Essential Training.
