Shakira Robertson

Shakira Robertson has extensive experience in community engagement and youth leadership, currently serving as a Sessional Receptionist and Youth Leader at Hackney CVS since October 2019. In the role of Youth Leader, Shakira facilitates the 'Young Black Men Inspirational Leaders' program, which focuses on empowering young people aged 11 to 25 by helping them explore their values and develop essential life skills. Additionally, Shakira is a Youth Justice Leader with Account Hackney, participating in an independent advisory group that monitors and represents community interests in policing issues. Shakira's previous work experience includes roles as a waitress at Rotunda and Kimchee Korean Restaurant. Education includes multiple qualifications in Beauty Therapy from Bournville College, City and Islington College, and James Watt College, along with a strong academic background featuring 9 GCSEs from Castle Vale Performing Arts School.
