Laura Stagg

Laura Stagg is a highly skilled and experienced leader in the education sector, currently serving as a System Leader at Hackney Education, where they focus on improving achievement through parent and carer engagement. Previously, Laura worked as a teacher for Newham Borough Council and an Advanced Leader of Learning at the London Borough of Newham. They held the position of Director of Operations at Impact from 2013 to 2021, and served as a Senior Education Adviser at Education Development Trust until 2023. Laura also coaches aspiring female leaders with Women Leading in Education and has taken on roles such as Vice Chair of Governors at Ellen Wilkinson Primary School, where they first served as Chair. They hold a Master’s degree in Leadership in Education from the University of East London and a Level 7 qualification in Leadership Coaching and Mentoring from the Chartered Management Institute.
