Hackney on Ice CIC is an inclusive grassroots community project making ice hockey and skating accessible, inclusive, and inspiring for children and families. We start small with school pilots that combine floorball lessons, reading challenges, and an introduction to the ice. Every programme is designed with full SEND and disability inclusion. Our aim is to build confidence, teamwork, and aspiration through sport. The long-term vision is to grow nationwide, creating a model that can be shared across communities in the UK.
