Jamsheed Mistri has a diverse work experience that spans multiple industries and roles. Jamsheed started their career as a Software Engineering Intern at Gauss Surgical in 2019, where they built a logging system and added localization to iOS apps. In 2020, they interned at Apple as an Engineering Project Management Intern, managing features for the Apple Developer Forums and developing an employee enrollment system. In 2021, they worked as a Software Development Intern at Udacity and as a Software Engineering Intern at Apple, where they worked on various projects. Jamsheed then interned at Twitter in 2022, where they developed API endpoints and handled big data manipulation tasks. In 2019, Mistri also held leadership roles as Director of Operations at Hack+ and as Co-Founder & Director at Pinnacle. In 2022, they worked as a Researcher at Berkeley NetSys Lab, focusing on IoT data collection and building decentralized data exchange systems. Currently, Mistri is a Founding Engineer at Layerup starting in 2023.
Jamsheed Mistri attended Los Altos High School from 2015 to 2019, where they did not pursue a specific field of study. After completing high school, they enrolled at the University of California, Berkeley in 2019 and is expected to graduate in 2022. At UC Berkeley, Jamsheed studied Computer Science. In addition to their formal education, Jamsheed obtained various certifications. In June 2018, they became a Level 8 Pianist through the ABRSM institution. In March 2018, they also obtained a certification as a Certified Referee & Coach from USA Taekwondo. Most recently, in May 2021, they acquired a React Nanodegree from Udacity.
