Sanil Chawla

Sanil Chawla has held various roles throughout their work experience. Sanil is the Founder & CEO of Slingshot, a business platform for creative individuals. Sanil is also the Founder & Executive Director of Hack+, an organization that helps students start startups and nonprofits. As an ODF6 Fellow at On Deck, they participated in a fellowship program. Additionally, Sanil worked as a Software Engineer at the Annenberg Inclusion Initiative, where they developed websites and digital tools to support diversity research. Sanil served as the Global Growth Director and NorCal Regional Manager at StudentRND, working on expanding their student community. Sanil co-founded and served as the Chief Technology Officer of Salusions.org, a med-tech benefit corporation, where they worked on various software projects. Sanil held leadership positions in Mission San Jose High School and HSHacks, and started TechyPeople, a platform for tech articles and software development, at a young age.

Sanil Chawla attended Mission San Jose High School from 2014 to 2018. Sanil did not obtain a degree or pursue a specific field of study during their time there. After completing high school, they went on to study at the University of Southern California from 2018 to 2022. During their time at USC, they pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Arts, Technology, and the Business of Innovation.
