Balázs Pózner

Balázs Pózner has a wealth of work experience in the IT security field. In 2020 they were the CEO & Founder of Hackrate. From 2019 to 2020 they were a Subject Matter Expert (IT Security) and Technology Senior Consultant at Deloitte. From 2016 to 2019 they worked at QUADRON Cybersecurity Services Ltd., where they held the roles of Senior IT Security Consultant and IT Security Consultant. Balázs's tasks included data classification, business continuity management, information security maturity assessment, ISO 27001 preparation and audits, pre-sales engineering and supporting tasks, log management, access management, backup and archiving processes, risk assessments, due diligence projects, and software based risk assessments. From 2014 to 2016 they were an Information Risk Management Junior Advisor at KPMG Hungary, where they managed IT system audits, performed General IT control audits, and computer aided journal entry tests. From 2013 to 2014 they were an Intern at the Security Management Department at Erste Bank Hungary, where they were involved in information security projects related to access management and disaster recovery, developed security awareness training materials, and coordinated the business continuity management e-learning training.

Balázs Pózner obtained a Bachelor's degree in Military and Security Technology Engineering from Óbuda University between 2009 and 2014. During this time, they also completed a Bachelor of Applied Science (BASc) in Security and Safety Engineering from Hochschule Furtwangen between 2012 and 2013. In addition, Balázs Pózner has obtained a number of certifications, including Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) from (ISC)² in 2021, Palo Alto Networks Accredited Systems Engineer (PSE): Platform Associate from Palo Alto Networks in 2018, Certificate of Cloud Security Knowledge (CCSK) v4 from Cloud Security Alliance in 2018, Essentials of Cybersecurity (University of Washington) from edX in 2017, Certified in Risk and Information Systems Control (CRISC) from ISACA in 2017, Symantec Cyber Security Services Sales Expert from Symantec in 2016, ISO 27001 Internal auditor from ISO - International Organization for Standardization in 2015, and ISO 22301:2012 BCMS Internal Auditor from SGS in 2015.
