Benjamin Gouriou's work experience begins in 2009 as a Trainee Engineer in numerical simulation at INRA, where they implemented water transfers between soil, plant, and atmosphere in a simulation model. Benjamin then worked at Logica as an Information Technology and Services Engineer, supporting a CRM application and developing monitoring tools. In 2012, Benjamin worked as a Research Engineer at LIMOS, programming a web application and optimizing algorithms. Benjamin then joined the Institut Pascal as a Trainee Research Engineer, where they characterized the properties of food and implemented statistical analysis methods. At Lojelis, Benjamin worked as an R&D Engineer, developing web applications and maintaining editorial sites. From 2016 to 2017, they worked at Elanz as a software development engineer, contributing to the revamp of digital platforms. Benjamin's most recent experience is at CIDECO, where they served as an R&D Engineer and Development Manager, responsible for the architecture and development of a real estate monitoring portal. Benjamin also deployed sensor networks, processed big data, and analyzed the health and reliability of structures. In 2023, Benjamin joined Hackuity as a Senior Back-end Developer.

Benjamin Gouriou completed their education with a Master 2 (M2) degree in Mécanique et Fiabilité des Matériaux et des Structures from Université Blaise Pascal (Clermont-II) in Clermont-Ferrand in 2013. Prior to that, they obtained a Diplôme d'ingénieur in Computing, Simulation and Business Intelligence from lSIMA in Clermont-Ferrand from 2007 to 2010. In 2007, they earned a Licence degree in Ingénierie Informatique from Université Blaise Pascal (Clermont-II). Benjamin Gouriou's secondary education was at Lycée Ambroise Brugière, where they obtained a BAC S (Baccalauréat Scientifique) from 2001 to 2004. Benjamin completed their earlier education at Collège Anatole France Gerzat from 1997 to 2001, without a specified degree or field of study.
