Miriam Steinberg-Egeth is an experienced strategic manager at Hadar since August 2021. Additionally, Miriam advises on dating, parenting, food, and Jewish life through "Miriam's Advice Well" at the Jewish Exponent, a role held since January 2012. Previously, Miriam served as the administrative coordinator for the Board of Rabbis of Greater Philadelphia from March 2018 to August 2021 and as the director at Center City Kehillah from August 2014 to August 2021, where engagement with local rabbis and Jewish organizations was a key focus. Earlier in the career, Miriam directed Hillel's Jewish Graduate Student Network from August 2006 to May 2014, impacting 1,200 graduate and professional students annually. Educational background includes a Master of Education in Creative Arts in Learning from Lesley University and a BA in Philosophy and Theatre from Goucher College.

Hadar
Founded in 2006, Hadar is an educational institution that empowers Jews to create and sustain vibrant, practicing, egalitarian communities of Torah learning, prayer, and service. Hadar offers year-long fellowship programs for Jews wanting to expand their knowledge of Torah. It teaches core Jewish values, Jewish ideas, and communal music. The institute also organizes short-term seminars for Jewish leaders of all backgrounds, from teachers and rabbis to Hillel professionals and lay people—all who want to make a difference in their communities. Through outstanding faculty, enthusiastic staff, individual donors, committed supporting foundations, and hundreds of alums, Hadar touches thousands of Jewish lives throughout the U.S. and Israel.
