Founded in 2006, Hadar is an educational institution that empowers Jews to create and sustain vibrant, practicing, egalitarian communities of Torah learning, prayer, and service.

Hadar offers year-long fellowship programs for Jews wanting to expand their knowledge of Torah. It teaches core Jewish values, Jewish ideas, and communal music. The institute also organizes short-term seminars for Jewish leaders of all backgrounds, from teachers and rabbis to Hillel professionals and lay people—all who want to make a difference in their communities.

Through outstanding faculty, enthusiastic staff, individual donors, committed supporting foundations, and hundreds of alums, Hadar touches thousands of Jewish lives throughout the U.S. and Israel.
