Itay Chowers

Itay Chowers has a robust background in ophthalmology, highlighted by a Doctor of Medicine degree from The Hebrew University of Jerusalem and extensive clinical experience. Chowers completed an internship at Hadassah Medical Center in 1995, followed by a research fellowship at Johns Hopkins Medicine from July 2000 to July 2002. Further specialization was achieved during a vitreoretinal fellowship at the Wilmer Eye Institute of Johns Hopkins Medicine from August 2002 to August 2003. Currently, Chowers holds the position of Chairman of the Department of Ophthalmology and serves as a Retina Specialist.
