Jonathan Cohen has a diverse work experience in the medical field. Jonathan started as a Physician-resident in Oncology at Hadassah Medical Centers The Hebrew University Jerusalem from an unknown start date until October 2015. Jonathan then became an Attending Physician at Sharett Institute of Oncology at Hadassah Medical Center in November 2015 and later became the Director of Clinical Research at the same institute in June 2020. Alongside their clinical roles, Jonathan also worked as a Senior Lecturer at The Hebrew University of Jerusalem from February 2023 and as a Lecturer from October 2015 until February 2023, where they taught various courses related to oncology. Jonathan has also worked as a Scientific Advisor at Pepticom since December 2014. Prior to their professional roles, Jonathan pursued their education at Ben Gurion University, where they obtained a PhD in a yet unknown field and was a medical and M.Sc. student, specializing in an unspecified subject.
Jonathan Cohen obtained their Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Neuroscience from Ben-Gurion University of the Negev from 2002 to 2009. Jonathan also holds a Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree from the same university. In 2015, they received additional certification as a Medical Oncologist from the Ministry of Health Israel.
