Nir Pillar

Nir Pillar is a certified anatomical pathologist with a robust background in molecular biology. Currently serving as a Senior Pathologist and Artificial Intelligence and Computational Pathology Researcher at Hadassah Medical Center, Nir has focused research on digital pathology over the past five years. Previously, Nir was a Clinical Advisor at Variantyx, where they analyzed genetic variants and developed algorithms, and completed an anatomic and clinical pathology residency at Hadassah Medical Center. Nir has also worked as a physician in the medical oncology department at Sheba - Tel Ha Shomer Hospital and is a postdoctoral scholar at the University of California, Los Angeles, specializing in virtual histology tools. Nir earned a Doctor of Medicine from Ben-Gurion University and a Ph.D. in Molecular Biology from Tel Aviv University.
