Mark Smith

Mark Smith is a seasoned entrepreneur with extensive experience in the automotive industry, serving as the Business Owner of Smyth Performance, Inc. since January 2007, where Smythkitcars.com manufactures car to truck conversion kits and ranks as the second largest supplier of kit cars in the United States. Additionally, Mark co-founded Haddy in December 2021 and previously co-founded Local Motors, Inc., serving on its board from September 2007 to May 2016. Mark's entrepreneurial journey began with Factory Five Racing, co-founded with their brother Dave in 1995, inspired by a personal project initiated in 1992. Earlier in Mark's career, a role as CEO at Avery Dennison from January 1988 to April 1995 and as a New Products Chemist provided valuable corporate experience. Mark holds an MBA in Marketing from Bentley University and a Bachelor of Science in Biology from the University of Michigan.
