Ian Masters

Ian Masters has a diverse work experience spanning several companies and roles. Ian is currently the Director of Engineering at Hadean since February 2022. Prior to that, they served as the Head of Engineering Operations at Hadean from March 2021 to February 2022. Before joining Hadean, Ian worked at Double Negative, where they held the position of Head of Research and Development from December 2015 to April 2019, and as a Research and Development specialist from February 2004 to December 2015. Ian also has experience at Scarlet Digital Imaging as a Research and Development specialist from November 2003 to February 2004, and at Rutherford Appleton Laboratory as a Software Engineer from July 1999 to September 2000.

Ian Masters completed their education with a Master of Science (MSc) in Computer Animation from Bournemouth University in 2002. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Software Engineering from The Manchester Metropolitan University, where they studied from 1997 to 2001. Ian's secondary education includes A-Levels in Maths, Physics, and English, which they obtained from Larkmead School in Abingdon, Oxon, from 1995 to 1997. Additionally, they completed their GCSEs with 11 grade A-C qualifications at Larkmead School from 1990 to 1995.
