Joseph Cox

Joseph Cox has worked in a variety of roles, beginning with a Research Fellow at Harvard University in 2006 and Indiana University in 2007. In 2011, they became a Senior Software Engineer and Senior Design Engineer at Altera Virtualization Labs. In 2014, they were a Founding Engineer at Vektr.io, and in 2015 they worked as a Software Engineer at Arteris. In 2016, they joined Target as a Director of Artificial Intelligence, Senior Manager Data Science and Optimization, and Lead Data Scientist. Most recently, in 2021, they became the Head of Data Science & Optimization at Hadrian.

Joseph Cox attended Eastern Nazarene College from 2004 to 2009, where they earned a Bachelor of Science in Physics and Mathematics. Joseph then attended Santa Clara University from 2010 to 2012, where they earned a Masters of Science in Applied Mathematics.
