Nikola Protic is a Senior Computational Geometry Software Engineer at Hadrian since 2022. Prior to this, they were a Computational Geometry Software Engineer at Paperless Parts from 2021-2022. During this time, they wrote C++ and Python algorithms to extract geometric and manufacturing metadata from 3D CAD models. Nikola also worked as an Associate at Princeton Consultants from 2021, where they built custom analytics and software using Python, SQL, and Java. From 2019-2021, they were a Graduate Student at the University of Chicago. From 2018-2019, they were a DOE Undergraduate Researcher at the Princeton Plasma Physics Laboratory (PPPL). From 2017-2018, they were an Undergraduate Researcher at Cornell University, where they studied hexagonal boron nitride (hBN or h-BN). From 2015-2017, they were an Aerodynamics Engineer at Cornell Racing (Formula SAE), where they designed the aerodynamic package of the 2017 car.
Nikola Protic received their high school diploma from Trinity School, NYC in 2015. Nikola then continued their education at Cornell University, where they earned a Bachelor of Science in Applied and Engineering Physics in 2019. In 2019, they began pursuing a Master of Science in Quantum Engineering at the University of Chicago, which they are expected to complete in 2021.
