Michael Murphy

Michael Murphy, MBA, CPA has over 17 years of professional experience in the finance and accounting field. Michael is currently serving as the Senior Director - Corporate FP&A at Haemonetics. In their previous role at Medtronic, starting in 2016, they held the position of Finance Director, where they led an international team and implemented centralized and standardized business solutions. Prior to that, they worked at Covidien (Medtronic Minimally Invasive Therapies Group) as a Senior Manager/Manager, where they played a key role in integrating the Covidien acquisition into the Medtronic platforms. Michael also served as an Accounting Supervisor/Senior Financial Analyst at TYCO HEALTHCARE KENDALL, where they led the implementation of a new ERP software and worked closely with business partners to drive financial forecasts and plans.

Michael Murphy, MBA, CPA has a Bachelor's Degree in Economics/Psychology from Providence College, which they obtained from 1999-2003. Michael then went on to earn a Master's of Business Administration with a focus in Marketing from Providence College School of Business, completing it from 2003-2005. To further their education, they obtained a Master's Certificate in Accounting from Bentley University - McCallum Graduate School of Business, which they completed from 2007-2008. Additionally, they hold a certification as a Certified Public Accountant, obtained from the MA Board of Accountancy in June 2010.
