Jamie Smith

Jamie has worked in research and analysis roles in the public sector since 2002, following completion of his PhD. Most recently he worked for the Welsh Government as Head of Public Services Research, where he worked primarily on evaluation of policies and programmes and in building capacity around the use of evidence across public services.

Outside of work, besides enjoying time with his wife and two children, Jamie enjoys renovating dilapidated houses and playing guitar in a Swansea rock band.
