Michael Rode

Michael RODE is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in purchasing and supply chain management within the Hager Group since 2000. Currently serving as the Metals Purchasing Senior Manager, Michael oversees a team of seven purchasers across France, Germany, and Poland, managing an annual spend of approximately 72M€. Responsibilities include implementing sourcing strategies that incorporate CO2 footprint considerations, monitoring key performance indicators, and securing deliveries to prevent production interruptions. Previously, Michael held various roles, including Lead Buyer for metal parts and Quality Supplier Manager, where strategic supplier management and reduction initiatives were successfully executed. Michael holds a Mechanical Engineering degree from ENSAIS and a DUT in Mechanical and Production Engineering from IUT Mulhouse.
