Patrick Bernard

Patrick Bernard has extensive experience in research and development, primarily within the Hager Group since August 1992. As Directeur recherche et développement at the Pessac site, Patrick leads a team of approximately 40 individuals in developing software solutions for connected systems focusing on comfort, security, and energy. Previous roles include managing two development sites as Directeur R&D - Solutions Sécurité, overseeing the industrialization of around 80 products annually with a revenue generation of 90 million euros, and guiding multi-disciplinary teams. Patrick's career also includes positions as Responsable Etudes Logiciels, where leadership was provided to a team of 15 embedded software engineers, and as an Ingénieur Logiciel, specializing in embedded development within home automation systems and digital telephony at Alcatel Business System and Banque Desjardins in Canada.
