Gary Chard serves as the Senior Vice President of Operations at both Hagerty and Broad Arrow since December 2023, following a successful tenure as Vice President of Leasing Operations & WorkRetail at The Taubman Company from January 2017 to December 2023. At Taubman, Gary led a team of 34 across 14 states, focusing on employee development, financial oversight, and operational efficiency, achieving significant cost savings. Gary is also a Partner at M Contemporary Art since November 2017 and founded Hired Knives, Inc., a food and beverage recruiting company, in March 2014, scaling it to a robust operation in the Detroit market. Previous experience includes various roles at Sotheby’s, culminating in leadership of North and South American HR functions and global compensation. Gary holds a Bachelor of Arts in Sports Studies and Business from Solent University.
