John Armbruster

John Armbruster is a seasoned legal professional with extensive experience in corporate governance, securities, and mergers and acquisitions. Currently serving as Vice President of Corporate Governance and Securities at Hagerty since 2024, John leads the legal team responsible for advising the Board of Directors and executive team on strategic transactions and matters related to SEC compliance. Previously, John worked at Unisys from 2008 to 2023, where responsibilities escalated from managing M&A and corporate finance to overseeing enterprise-wide corporate governance and additional legal functions. Prior to Unisys, John was a Partner at Kirkland & Ellis LLP, providing legal guidance to publicly held and privately owned companies on various corporate transactions. John graduated with a JD from Harvard Law School and holds a BA in Political Science and Economics from West Chester University of Pennsylvania.
