Lin Tan serves as a Practice Mentor at Peking University HSBC Business School and Chief Futurist at the Future Lab since April 2024, providing innovative courses and guidance for students and alumni. Since January 2020, Lin has also been an external partner at Haier. Previous roles include Chairman at Qianhai Reinsurance Tech Co. from February 2021 to May 2023, Chief Ecosystem Officer at the Beijing Institute of Big Data Research from November 2019 to June 2021, and CEO in Residence at Microsoft for Startups Beijing from February 2018 to August 2019. Furthermore, Lin founded Stratus Alliance, supporting overseas tech companies entering China, and held various director positions at Nayun and Shanghai Infivision Marketing Corp. Lin's education includes an EMBA from Cheung Kong Graduate School of Business and dual bachelor's degrees in Chemical Engineering and Biochemistry from the University of Ottawa.
