Julian Thümer

Julian Thümer has a diverse work experience in various industries. Julian is currently working as an Agile Product Owner at Haiilo since November 2021. Previously, they worked at Cargonexx GmbH, where they held multiple roles. From December 2019 to September 2021, they worked as a Senior Product Owner, leading a product team and driving the company's transformation into a Software as a Service (SaaS) company. Prior to that, they served as a Product Development Manager from February 2016 to December 2019, where they played a pivotal role in creating, launching, and managing the Cargonexx Product, aligning roadmaps with stakeholders, and focusing on user needs and business goals.

Before joining Cargonexx GmbH, Julian gained experience as a Strategy & Consulting Intern/Working Student at TRACK GmbH from September 2014 to July 2015. Julian also worked as a Consulting Intern at GGH MullenLowe in 2012 and as an Assistant Photographer at Studio Stemmler from May 2011 to December 2011. Additionally, Julian has experience as a Tax Intern at Thümer & Partner Steuerberater from January 2010 to July 2010 and as a Mechanical Engineering Intern at Airbus from October 2009 to January 2010.

Julian's work experience also includes a meaningful volunteer experience at Colegio Educativo Especial San Christoferus, where they served as a Volunteer from July 2008 to July 2009. In this role, they supported an organization called "Freunde der Erziehungskunst Rudolf Steiners e.V." and participated in alternative civil service in a Peruvian school for children and adults with disabilities.

Julian Thümer began their education in 2010 at Jacobs University Bremen, where they pursued a field of study in Global Economics and Management. Julian completed this program in 2011. In 2012, Julian enrolled at Hochschule Macromedia | Macromedia University of Applied Sciences, where they studied Medienmanagement - Markenkommunikation und Werbung. Julian successfully obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree from this institution in 2015.
