Ganesh Anand

Ganesh Anand has a diverse work experience in the field of machine learning and software engineering. Their most recent position is as a Software Engineer at Hakimo since July 2021. Prior to that, they worked at Pegara as a Machine Learning Engineer from June 2020 to July 2021. From April 2019 to May 2020, Ganesh worked independently as a Machine Learning Engineer consultant, focusing on vision-related problems and bringing state-of-the-art research to production.

In 2019, they also worked at FOR.ai as a Researcher, where they contributed to projects aimed at improving neural networks' efficiency. Between June 2018 and April 2019, Ganesh was a Member of Technical Staff at Streamoid, involved in enhancing image classification, segmentation, retrieval, and object detection models for production use.

Prior to that, they worked as a Research Associate at the Indian Institute of Technology, Madras from May 2017 to May 2018, where they worked on weakly and fully supervised image segmentation. Ganesh also worked on developing a semi-supervised solution for anomaly detection using GANs.

Ganesh began their career with internships at Dave.AI in 2016, where they gained practical experience in the field of machine learning engineering. Notably, they also contributed to the research and implementation of a fully reversible RNN in Pytorch during their time at the Indian Institute of Technology, Madras.

Ganesh Anand pursued their education from 2013 to 2018 at the Indian Institute of Technology, Madras. During this time, they earned a Dual Degree in Engineering Design.
