Tucked away on the lower level of The Prince Kitano Hotel, hakubai is an authentic Japanese restaurant, elegantly designed to combine heritage artisanship and contemporary warmth. Led by four award winning and extensively experienced Japanese chefs, we provide guests a modern and refined Kaiseki & pastry experience. Kaiseki, rooted in the spirit of gathering and dining, is enhanced by a curated menu of balanced, seasonal dishes, and traces its origins back 680 years. Each course captures the philosophy of “shun,” where every ingredient is enjoyed at the peak of its flavor. The attention to detail within the dining room stirs the spirit & inspires the senses, while the studious service embodies the tradition of Omotenashi (mindful hospitality). We look forward to seeing you in our dining room soon.
