Dave Levin

Co-founder, Chairman, & Chief Strategy Officer at Hala Systems

Dave Levin has a long and varied work experience. Dave began their career in 2002 as a Strategy Consultant and Speechwriter in the Office of Secretary-General Kofi Annan at the UN Global Compact. In 2006, they moved to McKinsey & Company as an Engagement Manager and Strategy Fellow. In 2009, they were selected as a Fulbright-Nehru Scholar at The Fulbright Program. From 2011 to 2014, they worked as a Social Entrepreneur and Consultant on Technology for Development, focusing on Mobile Financial Services, Financial Innovation for the Poor, and ICT4D. In 2014, they founded and became Executive Director of Refugee Open Ware, a hybrid social enterprise. Dave also served as an Advisor for 3Dmena in 2014. In 2018, they became an Unreasonable Fellow at Unreasonable, an organization, investment fund, and private global network dedicated to supporting entrepreneurs. Finally, they were Co-Founder and Chief Operating Officer of Hala Systems, Inc. from 2015 to the present.

Dave Levin began their educational journey at The Wharton School, earning a Bachelor of Arts (BA) and Bachelor of Science (BS) in the Huntsman Program in International Studies & Business in 1999-2002. Dave then continued their studies at The Wharton School, earning an MBA in Entrepreneurship; Business & Public Policy in 2002-2004. Finally, they earned an M.Phil. in Political Thought & Intellectual Theirtory from the University of Cambridge in 2004-2005.
