Karim Hussein is a seasoned technology and investment professional, currently serving as Managing Partner at Algebra Ventures LLC since 2017. With extensive board memberships, Karim contributes to several companies including Yodawy, Halan, Simplex CNC, Little Thinking Minds, and Contact Financial Holding. Between 2013 and 2019, Karim also held the role of Chairman and Cofounder at D-Kimia Diagnostic Solutions, and served on the board of Integreight until 2018. Previous experience includes significant positions at WebMD, where Karim was SVP of Platform Products & Engineering as well as VP of Engineering, and Riskclick, Inc. as Chief Technology Officer. Karim earned a PhD in Information Systems from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and a BSc in Electrical & Computer Engineering from Carnegie Mellon University.
