Mimi Adams has worked in a variety of roles since 2005. In 2006, they were an intern for Wilhelmina Dan Agency, providing administrative and clerical support, such as answering phones, assisting agents with bookings, and managing talent databases. In 2007, they were a receptionist/assistant to a publicist at The Brokaw Company, and an intern for Wilhelmina Models, managing model portfolios, maintaining and organizing files, and handling phones. In 2008, they were an assistant to a music touring agent at Creative Artists Agency, generating deal memos and expense reports, and establishing relationships with artist managers. In 2009, they were an operations manager and events planner for Mega Yacht Interior Consulting, planning, providing, and supervising six star service and events for C-suite clientele. In 2013, they earned their MBA from the University of Florida. In 2018, they began working at Romanoff Renovations as a national procurement manager, managing existing vendor relationships and developing new ones, monitoring vendor performance, and owning product knowledge. Mimi also held the roles of bath administrative specialist and sales coordinator. Finally, in 2020, they began working as a program manager at Halco Lighting Technologies.

Mimi then obtained their Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) from Belmont University between 2005 and 2007, with a focus on Music Business. Prior to that, they earned an Associate's Degree from the University of Florida between 2002 and 2004, with a focus on Political Science, Public Relations and Business Studies.
