Eric Mears

Eric Mears is an experienced professional in the mining and environmental consulting industries, currently serving as a Member of the Board of Trustees for the American Exploration and Mining Association and as Vice President at Haley & Aldrich, where the focus is on developing a national practice in metals and industrial minerals. Mears has over 25 years of diverse consulting experience, has held various leadership roles including Commissioner for Maricopa County Parks and Recreation and as a member of the Arizona Mining Advisory Council. Mears is also a long-term Board Member of the Arizona Rock Products Association and the Arizona Mining Association, advocating for the sustainable growth of the mining sector. Previous experience includes positions at Brown and Caldwell, Century West Engineering, and Alton Geoscience, with a foundational education in Geology from Eastern Illinois University.
