Eric Bourget

Eric Bourget has a diverse work experience spanning various industries. Eric is currently a Board Member at EO Montreal since 2022. Prior to this, they worked as the CEO & Founder of HalfSerious, a Product Innovation Studio, from 2011 to the present. At HalfSerious, Eric focused on product strategy, design, and software development.

From 2011 to 2011, they served as the Executive Producer at Hibernum Créations, a leading independent video game studio in Montreal. In this role, Eric's responsibilities included team leadership, talent growth, and project management.

Before that, Eric had a long tenure at Electronic Arts (EA) Mobile, starting as a Producer in 2007, where they managed a team of designers, artists, developers, and testers for the production of mobile and social game titles. Eric later served as a Development Director from 2008 to 2011, overseeing a production floor of 80-100 people and managing production pipelines, budgets, and communications. Eric also held the position of Franchise Leader for Scrabble, defining and deploying commercial strategies and managing licensor relationships.

At Mega Brands, Eric worked as a Brand Manager from 2004 to 2007, focusing on defining commercial strategies, brand strategies, and managing licensor relations. Eric also served as a Project Manager from 2003 to 2004, responsible for planning and executing product development projects, as well as delivering special projects related to process improvement and vendor management.

Eric's career started at Nortel Networks in 2000 as a Project Engineer, where they created and managed technical projects related to scaling manufacturing capability.

Overall, Eric Bourget has a strong background in leadership, project management, team management, and business development across various industries, including gaming, software development, toy manufacturing, and telecommunications.

Eric Bourget earned a Bachelor's Degree in Automation Engineering from École de technologie supérieure, where they studied from 1996 to 2000.
