Peter Mehler

Peter Mehler is a Senior Data Scientist at Halfspace, an AI company, since August 2023, where focus lies on delivering AI and machine learning solutions across various markets. Previously, Peter worked at Københavns Universitet from April 2022 to August 2023 as a Data Scientist in the Social Data Science Lab, leading projects that analyze structural vulnerabilities in real-world networks. Prior experience includes serving as a Data Science Research Assistant at Northeastern University, contributing to research published in Nature Food, and interning at Middlebury College's Geology Lab, where a data pipeline and hydrodynamic model were developed for predicting subsurface currents. Peter holds a Master's degree in Data Science from IT-Universitetet i København and a Bachelor of Arts in Computer Science with a Sociology minor from Middlebury College, complemented by an abroad semester in Computer Science at the Aquincum Institute of Technology in Budapest, Hungary.
