Ally Phan is a motivated professional with extensive experience in social media management, marketing, and leadership. Currently serving as the Social Media Coordinator for #HALFTHESTORY since January 2022, Ally oversees various platforms while leading a team of teen content creators. Additional roles include hosting a bi-weekly podcast for Our Playground and co-founding The Career Club, aimed at guiding students in their career exploration. Ally also has a background in coaching at Zenith West Gymnastics, serving as Chapter President for Washington DECA with notable competitive achievements, and has held various educational positions leading to an intended Bachelor's degree in Business at the University of Washington.

#HalfTheStory is a NGO on a mission to empower the next-gen’s relationship with tech. We have been the leading youth innovators in this space for the last 7 years. We are designed to shift the ecosystem of digital wellbeing by permeating youth advocacy, legislature, and educational systems.. Our hero program, Social Media U, is a 4-week experience designed to support teens emotionally and socially as they transition to high school in the digital age. Our goal at #HalfTheStory is to empower youth with the tools and habits they need to help them take charge of their screens through our 360 immersive approach serving students, parents, and school districts
