Phil Renaud

Phil Renaud has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Phil is currently employed as a Senior Software Engineer II at HashiCorp since March 2022. Prior to this, Phil was the Co-Founder of Halihax, a tech community that aimed to connect and inspire builders and creators in Atlantic Canada, starting from January 2014.

Phil also worked at Nylas, where they held multiple roles. Phil served as the Senior Director of Engineering from September 2021 to March 2022, the Director of Engineering from October 2020 to September 2021, and the Engineering Manager from May 2020 to October 2020.

Before joining Nylas, Phil worked at Affinio for a significant period. Phil held the positions of VP Engineering from December 2015 to May 2020, and Co-founder and Developer from May 2013 to May 2020.

Additionally, Phil has previous experience as a Senior Web Developer at Riester from April 2011 to December 2012, as an Interactive Design Director at Rhino Internet Solutions from February 2010 to April 2011, as an Interactive Designer at Rhino Internet from June 2007 to February 2010, and as a User Interface Designer at Riot Industries from January 2004 to June 2007.

Phil Renaud earned a Bachelor of Arts Honours degree in Philosophy from the University of Windsor. Phil attended this institution from 2003 to 2007.
