Djamel Deken

Djamel Deken is a seasoned professional in business development with extensive experience in the biotechnology and pharmaceutical sectors. Currently serving as Senior Director of Business Development at HALIX since March 2023, Djamel previously held the position of Head of Business Development at Wacker Biotech B.V., where responsibilities included managing the Business Development team and securing significant contract manufacturing projects across Germany and the Netherlands. Prior to Wacker Biotech, Djamel was a Manager of Business Development at OctoPlus and started a career as a Market Research Analyst. Djamel holds a Master of Science in Pharmaceutical Sciences from Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam, obtained in 2005.
