Jennifer Smitherman

Jennifer Smitherman's work experience includes serving as the Chief Research Officer at Hall Render, where they managed the Research and Information Services department and handled numerous research requests. Jennifer also conducted business development research and created company profiles and reports. Prior to that, they worked as a Public Relations/Marketing Intern at CMG Worldwide, gaining experience in sports and entertainment marketing campaigns. This involved conducting research, writing press releases, interacting with clients, planning events, and managing media relations. Earlier in their career, they worked as a Library Associate at Pendleton Community Library, where they provided customer service, assisted patrons with various resources, and designed public relations materials for the children's department.

Jennifer Smitherman earned a Paralegal Certificate from Purdue University Fort Wayne in 2018. Prior to that, they obtained a Master of Library & Information Science (MLIS) degree from Indiana University–Purdue University Indianapolis in 2003. In 2001, Jennifer graduated from Ball State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Public Relations, with a minor in Business Management. Before attending Ball State, they attended the College of Charleston in 1998-1999, where they studied Communication and Media Studies. Jennifer completed their high school education at Pendleton Heights High School from 1994 to 1998.
