Ehsan Beigi

Ehsan Beigi, Ph.D., is a seasoned data scientist with extensive experience in data analysis, modeling, and computational techniques within the energy and engineering sectors. Currently employed at Halliburton since April 2018, Ehsan engages in data wrangling and the development of predictive models utilizing machine learning. Prior to this role, Ehsan co-founded Inside Petroleum, Inc., serving as Chief Data Scientist, where expertise in data mining and cloud computing with AWS facilitated analysis of over 150,000 oil and gas wells. Ehsan's earlier positions include Hydrological Modeler at IDCUS Inc., focusing on GUI development and data visualization for ArcGIS, and Graduate Research Assistant at Louisiana State University, where Ehsan advanced high-performance computing methods and software for hydrological modeling. With a Doctor of Philosophy in Civil Engineering from Louisiana State University, supported by a Master's from Sharif University of Technology and a Bachelor's from Isfahan University of Technology, Ehsan combines academic knowledge with practical applications in water resources engineering and data science.
