Hamid Abbassi is a Senior Petrophysicist with extensive experience in formation evaluation and petrophysics. They began their career at Schlumberger from 1996 to 2014, followed by a tenure at Saudi Aramco until 2023, where they served as a Petrophysicist and Geological Specialist. Currently, Hamid is working as a Senior Petrophysicist at Halliburton since 2023. They are pursuing a Master’s degree at IFP School and hold several advanced degrees, including a DESS from Université Paris Cité and a DEA from Institut français du pétrole. Hamid obtained their engineering degree from Institut National des Hydrocarbures et de la Chimie.
