Steven Nelson has over 30 years of work experience in various accounting and financial management roles. steven is currently working as the Head of Financial Planning Analysis at Hallmark Care Homes since October 2020. Prior to that, they served as the Head of Reporting and Consolidation at Care UK from December 2012 to May 2020. Before their time at Care UK, Steven worked as the Group Accounting Manager at Britvic Soft Drinks PLC from 2008 to June 2012. steven also holds experience as a Group Corporate Accountant at Barratt Developments plc from 2005 to 2007. Steven began their career as a Senior Accountant/Auditor at both Douglas Shaw Chartered Accountants from 1999 to 2005 and de Wit & Co. Chartered Accountants from 1991 to 1996.
Steven Nelson has a background in accounting and finance. steven obtained a BA Hons degree in Accounting and Finance from Northumbria University in the years 1996 to 1999. Prior to this, they pursued studies in Accounting and Finance at the Association of Chartered Certified Accounts (ACCA) from 1999 to 2001. In 1991 to 1993, they completed a BTEC National Business and Finance program.
