halluciphile, is a cut-up artist at the intersection of underground music, digital art, and open source blockchain technology.

His journey began in the late 90s, as he pirated international underground music and shared with his friends and eventually with his local scene by DJing local raves and parties. His online activities lead to his album release on Soulseek Records and the creation of his netlabel, Synchronausea.

halluciphile's foray into tokenization of digital media began when making punycodes on namecoin in 2014, when he created something he did not see anyone else doing. Using today’s terms this was an NFT from 2014. This work is important because it has on-chain attestation and cannot be reduced to image brand logo for an altcoin. In 2016 he discovered the Counterparty platform. Here, his work flourished, contributing to Rare Pepe and several other collections with his own illustrations and commissions he attributed to pepedust.com. At the first RareAF in 2017, he sold a physical nft and 100% issuance on stage during the auction at the end of the night. For the next year’s event he answered the call to papers and published his treatise on archive.org.

Recently he has released a website in order to interact with his original NFT, this immersive mixtape, m/eow. It was debuted at, Art Dubai 2024 by the MORROW Collective’s decade in review exhibition. This was followed by two commemorative works being auctioned at Sotheby’s

Today, he continues to push the artistic boundaries of mixed media, multimedia, tokenization, and game mechanics. At his core, halluciphile is a messenger exploring uncharted territories, seeking to merge art, technology, and empowerment of the individual. Through his ventures, he invites us into a world where the digital and the esoteric converge, envisioning a future of individual empowerment through the tokenization of intellectual property.
