Michael Purcell has a diverse work experience in the robotics and engineering fields. Michael started their career at ESB International as an Undergraduate Intern, where they conducted engineering analyses and reported on power plant faults. Michael also reviewed applications for a transmission development project.
In 2019, Michael worked as a Robotics Software Engineer at Deepfield Robotics, where they developed autonomous navigation solutions and created in-house testing tools using C++, Python, and ROS.
Currently, Michael is employed at Halodi Robotics as a Senior Controls Engineer. Michael also previously held the role of Motion Planning and Controls Engineer at the same company.
Michael Purcell received a Master's degree in Robotics, Systems & Control from ETH Zürich. Michael attended ETH Zürich from 2017 to 2020. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from University College Dublin, where they studied from 2013 to 2017.
