Ruben Stefanus

Ruben Stefanus is a Senior Data Scientist at Halodoc since November 2022, leading development of an LLM-based service for information extraction from insurance claims. With a strong background in data science and machine learning, Ruben serves as a Data Science Mentor at adplist.org and is a Founding Member and Researcher at Jakarta Artificial Intelligence Research since April 2020, focusing on AI implementation in Indonesia. Previous roles include Data Scientist at Finantier, where Ruben developed credit scoring services and personal finance categorization tools, and at Warung Pintar, where substantial improvements in user verification and demand prediction models were achieved. Ruben also has experience as an Academic Expertise Consultant at Purwadhika Digital Technology School and has held roles as a Technical Consultant and Robotics Trainer. Ruben holds a Bachelor's degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Universitas Kristen Maranatha Bandung.
