Michael Newell

Michael Newell has over 40 years of work experience in sales and marketing, beginning with Varian Associates in 1977. From 1984 to 1993, they held various roles at AT&T CAPITAL SERVICES INC, including National Accounts Manager, General Manager of AT&T Analytical Instruments, and National Sales Manager of US Analytical Instruments. From 1993 to 1998, they were Senior Accounts Manager at Molecular Simulations and Director of Business Development at INFICON. From 1998 to 2008, they served as Director of Business Development and Vice President of Worldwide Sales at IDEX Corporation. From 2008 to 2015, they were CEO of Ener-G-Rotors, Inc., and from 2015 to 2018, they were Chief Operating Officer at Empire State Health Solutions. Since 2018, they have been Owner of North Star Business Advisors and North Star Guiding Service, and since 2020, Vice President of Sales and Marketing at Halomine, Inc.

Michael Newell obtained a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry from Union College from 1971 to 1973. Michael is also certified as a Licensed Guide #1018 from the New York State DEC, a Master Educator from the Leave No Trace Center For Outdoor Ethics, and a Master Guide from the New York State Outdoor Guides Association Inc.
