Robert E. is currently a Senior Family Advocate at HALOS, where they have supported kinship caregivers for over a year, assisting them in providing safe homes for children by accessing resources and overcoming challenges. They also worked as a Student Support Specialist at Communities In Schools Charleston from 2011 to 2018, focusing on helping teens avoid risky behaviors and ensuring they graduate. In addition to their advocacy work, Robert is a reggae artist and the owner of PAPA ROBBIE, a music production and entertainment company founded in 1998, where they create uplifting music that promotes positive messages and values. Robert holds a degree in Political Science and African American Studies from the University of South Carolina, earned in 1994.
