Mikaele Ymker

Mikaele Ymker is a Sustainability Lead in US Livestock and Agriculture, focused on bridging academic, public, and private sectors to create sustainable agrifood systems. They have a rich background in science communication, strategy, and operations, having served as a Biosecurity Ambassador at Auckland Council and a Growth and Strategy Intern at Halter. Mikaele undertook an Independent Research Tutorial at the University of Oxford, analyzing the environmental impacts of animal agriculture. Currently, they are pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Science at Yale University while holding roles such as Agri-Carbon Specialist at Symbrosia and a Livestock Innovation and Climate Solutions Intern at FAO.
