Robin Shucksmith is an accomplished engineering leader with extensive experience in software and hardware development, particularly in the fields of telematics and IoT. Currently serving as Head of Engineering (Guidance) at Halter since September 2025, Robin previously held significant roles at Lightspeed Commerce, including Senior Director and Director of Engineering. Prior experience includes leadership positions at EROAD, focusing on next-generation in-cab platforms, and previous software engineering roles at Fisher & Paykel Appliances and Finisar. Robin's career began with a Bachelor of Engineering (Honours) in Computer Systems from the University of Auckland and has included contributions as a Teaching Assistant and a Summer Research Scholar.
