Sam Taylor

Sam Taylor has a diverse work history spanning over 25 years. Their most recent position is as the Lead Production Engineer at Halter, starting in January 2023. Prior to that, they worked at Rocket Lab for over four years as the Propulsion Test Manager, leading a team of engineers and overseeing test cell commissioning for a new engine test facility. From 2004 to 2018, Sam worked at Cubic Defence New Zealand Ltd in various roles, including Project Engineer, ATE Team Leader, and Project Leader for Vehicle Systems. Sam also has experience as a Software Team Leader at Peace Software, an Electronic Design Engineer at PowerCor NZ Ltd, and a Graduate Electronic Design Engineer at Fisher and Paykel.

Sam Taylor attended Auckland Grammar School, although the start and end years are not specified. Following this, from 1993 to 1996, they pursued a Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical, Electronics, and Communications Engineering at The University of Auckland.
