Ru Watkins is a senior executive with extensive leadership and change-management experience across private and public sectors, including Defence, Health, Charity, and Telecommunications. They currently serve as Chief Executive of Hamelin Trust (since 2021) and as Specialist Advisor to the Care Quality Commission (since 2015), with additional current roles as Vice Chair of the Mid and South Essex ICS VCSFE Assembly and as Vice Chair of the Army Families Federation Board (both since 2022). They previously led Noah's Ark Children's Hospice as Chief Executive (2014–2019) and Saint Elizabeth Hospice as Chief Executive Officer (2019–2020), and have experience in transformation and communications across organisations including the UK Ministry of Defence and BT. They earned a BA (Hons) from the University of Sheffield, a Masters in Business from Cranfield School of Management, and completed Advanced Management studies at Manchester Business School.
